Tailored to each client’s specific needs

Hiring

We conduct an extensive screening and vetting process for all potential hires, including multiple interviews, an exhaustive background check, drug screening at the customer’s request, plus verification of former employment and references. We will customize our screening procedure for you on request.

Training and Supervision

Not only do we provide a full complement of security services, Mueller Security & Investigations is a fully licensed New York State training facility. All of our employees undergo New York State-mandated training, plus customized instruction for each client, including:

Pre-assignment audio-visual instruction

Mueller provides pre-assignment audio-visual instruction in communications and reports; foot and mobile patrol techniques; public and client relations; basic first aid; fire prevention and control; safety checks and standard post responsibilities. Employees also receive specialized instruction based on particular assignments, such as parking lot security, understanding hazardous materials or handling bomb threats.

On-the-job training (OJT)

Training is tailored to each client’s specific needs, including post orders, daily activity reports, key rounds, emergency procedures, special client directives, etc.

Continuing Education

We offer continuing education in a classroom setting that reinforces subjects covered in the pre-assignment training and OJT exercises.

Inspecting Supervision

Inspecting supervision by site supervisors and field supervisors includes: frequent unannounced visits; review of post orders; appearance and morale; and accompaniment of security officers on prescribed rounds.
